Mission Statement
The mission of the Southern Local FFA chapter will be to provide leadership, teamwork, and citizenship opportunities to members through activities, and events. Throughout the school year these activities and, events will be on local, regional, state, and national levels.

Chapter PresidentJUSTUS BLACKMy name is Justus Black. I have been in FFA for four years. My role as president is to preside over meetings, appoint committees; coordinate chapter activities, and to represent the chapter in public relations.
Chapter Vice PresidentGABRIEL BLISSENBACHMy name is Gabriel Blissenbach. I have been in FFA for four years and my current position in the chapter is Vice President. My role as a Vice President is to assist at all times in directing the work of our organization.
Chapter SecretaryJoseline StanleyMy name is Joseline Stanley and I have been in FFA for four years now and I am the current Secretary of my chapter. My role as secretary is to keep attendance and participation records for every FFA meeting and activity.

Chapter ParliamentarianAIDEN BROTHERSMy name is Aiden Brothers and I have been in FFA for two years and I am the Parlimentarian this year. My role as Parliamentarian is to know and share information about parliamentary law and assist members in proper meeting procedure and ettiequte.
Chapter SentinelTYLER RAWLINGSMy name is Tyler Rawlings and I have been in FFA for four years, I'm the current Sentinel. My role as Sentinel is to assist the President in maintaining order, keep the meeting room and paraphernalia in proper condition, welcome guests and visitors, and assist with special features.
Chapter ReporterLindsey BregarMy name is Lindsey Bregar. I have been an FFA member for three years now. My role in FFA is reporter. Therefore, my job is to photograph the memories we share as an FFA chapter through each year and piece together a scrapbook as well as slide show for the end of the year banquet.
Chapter Junior AdvisorKaiden McCulleyMy name is Kaiden McCulley and I have been in FFA for four years, I am the Junior Advisor. My role as the Junior Advisor is to assist where it is needed.

Growing Leaders - Career Success
Chair: GABRIEL BLISSENBACH
The Career Success committee is to pick activities that help promote student involvement and help promote the growth in ag related careers. One activity is the farm science review.
Growing Leaders - Healthy Lifestyle
Chair: Jared Adams
The Healthy Lifestyle committee decided on activities that help the students mentally and physically. One activity they are in charge of is our chapter dodgeball tournament.
Growing Leaders - Leadership
Chair: MICKAELA ALLISON
The Leadership committee handles any activities that help with the growth of leaders, human relations, and decision making skills that are needed to be a productive leader. These activities include National Convention and State Convention.
Growing Leaders - Personal Growth
Chair: AIDEN BROTHERS
In the Personal Growth committee they find activities that help members with their life goals and development.One activity is the State Leadership night.
Growing Leaders - Scholarship
Chair: SOPHIE CAIN
The scholarship committee deals with activities that help develop positive attitudes for the learning experience. One activity our chapter does is the Tom Roush FFA Jacket Scholarship.
Building Communities - Citizenship
Chair: Lindsey Bregar
The Citizenship committee is responsible for activities pertaining to encouraging members to become more active within the school and community. One activity is the Alumni Food Stand at the Columbiana County Fair.
Building Communities - Economic Development
Chair: Kenneth Frischkorn
The Economic Development committee is responsible for activities that improve the economic welfare in the community. One activity they are responsible for is our Bakers Milk Sale.
Building Communities - Environmental
Chair: Joseline Stanley
The Environmental committee is responsible for preserving natural resources and helping individuals develop responsibilities for the environment. One activity they preside over is the School Landscaping Program.
Building Communities - Human Resources
Chair: SHAMAN WIELAND
The Human Resource committee's purpose is to improve the well being of members and citizens in the community. One activity they are responsible for is our Kiss-A-Critter to raise money for Akron Children's Hospital.
Building Communities - Stakeholder Engagement
Chair: COLE FORBES
The Stakeholder committee handles activities that help develop teamwork and cooperation within the chapter. One activity they are responsible for is the Salineville Kiwanis Rose Sale.
Strengthening Agriculture - Agricultural Advocacy
Chair: CALLEN BETTIS
The Agricultural Advocacy committee conducts activities that promote our agricultural program. One activity they preside over is our fair booth at the Columbiana County Fair.
Strengthening Agriculture - Agricultural Literacy
Chair: TESSA BOARD
The Agricultural Literacy committee is responsible for activities that help inform about the impact on production, food, and fuel. One activity they preside over is our booth at our schools district showcase.
Strengthening Agriculture - Chapter Recruitment
Chair: LILLIAN PATTERSON
The Chapter Recruitment committee's purpose is to get members to participate in FFA and increase the membership. Activities they are responsible for are Ag Olympics and 8th grade recruitment.
Strengthening Agriculture - Safety
Chair: EMMA PRENDERGAST
The Safety committee's purpose is to plan activities that enhance safety in members and the community. One activity they are responsible for is our petting zoo, which is used to teach younger kids how to safely handle animals.
Strengthening Agriculture - Support Group
Chair: RICHARD HOUSE
The Support Group committee's purpose is to hold activities that help develop relations within the FFA chapter and community. One activity they are in charge of is our Alumni FFA Food Stand.
